I have recently lost my new email notification?

I recently lost the "Yahoo" message saying I have new email and my toolbar is not indicating that I have x number of emails. I would like the voice and written notification back. I reinstalled the latest version of the toolbar.

Yahoo engineers are working on the messenger problems and are aware of it. Mine returned today after a week.
Reply:Apparently, alot of people (myself included) are having this problem. Have no idea why......I hope they get this problem fixed soon, it's been a week for me. How long has yours not worked?
