How should I notify my coworkers via email that I am out for my honeymoon and wedding?

I want to send a cute email out to everyone at work notifying them I'll be out for my wedding and honeymoon and will return with a new last name but I need help. I saw a sample online a few months ago but at that moment I didn't write it down and now I can't find it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
How should I notify my coworkers via email that I am out for my honeymoon and wedding?
I agree with keeping it strictly business. Especially if you didn't invite any of these people to the wedding. This is your personal business, so just say you will be out of the office from ___to___. When you return, you can send out notification of your name change.
Reply:Dear one, please forget this. It makes you look conceited and self-serving. Not very complimentary adjectives – and I will bet money you’re not really that way – you’re just excited and overjoyed. But it truly makes you look, well, not as nice as you really are.

Hopefully you put in for vacation already.

And if you’ve been planning this wedding – your coworkers will have already been aware of your pending ceremony and name change etc. If they were invited, that will be ample notice. If they weren’t invited, then they don’t need to hear you “gloat” or “brag” about your wedding and all that stuff, thank you very much.

If you got married on the spur of the moment (what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?) then your nuptials are not something to be announced via e-mail.

That said, it’s not necessary to say anything except that you’re out of the office or on vacation. There is something to be said for keeping your personal life and your business life – separate.

When you return, notify Personnel right away so they can get whatever paperwork they need to have completed down to you asap.

Reply:Business emails should always be written in business format. "I will be out of the office from 5/7/07 returning 5/14/07. In my absence you can contact Jill Jones at 888-888-9090. Thank you."

Keep it professional unless you work in a really casual environment. Not everyone needs to know your house will be empty for the entire duration of time you give and personal business should not be mixed with professional business.

Good luck!
Reply:Do you have Outlook email? If so, anytime anyone emails you, you can send out an automatic message stated you will be gone for your wedding and will return on such and such date. Then leave a number or email for your backup or the place all questions should be directed.
Reply:How about this...

Please do not disturb...I will be gone (date) to (date) on my honeymoon, and will return as Mrs. _____ when I return. See you then!"
