Can my co-workers hack into my work email?

I noticed that a woman I work with has been accessing other employee email accounts. Can she do this? Isn't that against some kind of policy??
Can my co-workers hack into my work email?
I did give you the answer.

Use a good password for your mail and dont let your browser remeber it.

Reply:If she is accessing other employee email accounts without their permission, then that is illegal. Thats like someone coming to your house and taking everything out of your mailbox.

It also depends on her job description, if her job is to monitor the emails that are going through the building then that different.
Reply:Company policy usually prohibits that sort of thing - as far as company interests are concerned. But keeping your email id and password confidential is your own responsibility. Your id may be misused, that is more dangerous than seeing your emails.

So change your password immediately. I think she knew the id and password of your colleagues. Hacking is not everyone's expertise.
Reply:Unless she is mandated by the company to do this, it's wrong. It's also a violation of privacy laws (check your local state or provincial laws). You might also want to check into the company acceptable use policy and maybe talk with a I.T. staff member about this.

I've seen people get fired for doing less.

Change your password to something more 'cryptic' like 5 letters, one in caps, dot or dash and five numbers.
